My name is Mireille and I am the sole worker bee behind Sea Salt & Ginger Studio! I design every pair of earrings and every embroidered patch, transform all the products into wearables, and ship everything out with my own two hands! I started exploring making jewelry out of clay while I was in college and loved the endless creative possibilities it offered. I started to sell my earrings and my business slowly blossomed from there. I expanded into hand-embroidering hats about two years ago which proved to be a huge hit and something I profoundly enjoy doing! I have moved into other wearables and accessories since (zipper pouches, chalk bags for climbing, and the occasional corduroy jacket!) This teenie business has carried me through some pretty tumultuous years filled with a whole lot of big emotions and experiences in life, and I am so grateful to have something filled with so much magic and healing in my life. I have worked seasonally for the past four years, with my entire business living out of my car and tent, which has added a deep sense of nature and whimsy to my designs. I float around to wherever the wind takes me in my creative endeavors. Officially a retired raft guide, I now work part-time as a Reading Therapist for kiddos with disabilities and create my art the other 50-ish percent of the time!
